Wood Grips
Our custom builder has no equal in crafting beautiful, serviceable and durable wood grips using either stabilized (acrylic impregnated) or unstabilized exotic wood such as figurative maple, amboyna, cocobolo and zebra wood. Our custom builder has developed a process for making a wood grip almost as light as cork. Besides the obvious advantage of beauty, a wood grip also has superior sensitivity and feel whether wet or dry.
The wood grip can be further enhanced with inlays, drawings or other decorations like scrimshaw.
Guides
Guides are available in a variety of colors with many materials available for stripping guide inserts.
Reel Seats
The reel seat offers additional opportunities for personalization, with a variety of metal finishes, colors, wood inserts, drawings, scrimshaw or added gold or sterling silver applications.
Butt Caps, Slip Rings and Rod Art
There are many places on a fly rod where you can have artistic elements applied to enhance your personal statement.
Custom engravings and gold or silver artwork can be applied to the butt cap and slip ring.
